It’s one thing for a company to create really good products and services.  It’s another to make insane amounts of money off of them.  It’s yet another to consistently be named the best or most innovative company to work.

This link should lead you to The Consumerist’s annual poll to find the WORST COMPANY in AMERICA.  I like this for a few reasons:

Every company should be held accountable.

This stirs up lots of good debate.

It’s one small way to fight back against bad business.

It makes for great practice: Only a couple weeks until NCAA basketball brackets!

Retailers seem to be cracking down on returns lately, and I don’t really blame them. I’m all for fairness if a product is defective, or the wrong size, but you have to draw the line somewhere.  The customer isn’t right if the customer is trying to rip you off.
Barnes & Noble made some waves this [...]

Just a quick update.  Systemax and TigerDirect are ambitiously continuing with plans to reinvigorate what’s left of CompUSA.  The optimism is nice to read.

”Everything will be brand new,” says TigerDirect CEO Gilbert Fiorentino.

Systemax paid $30 million for 16 existing stores, the CompUSA brand name, and the website.

Florida will me the main focus, with 12 of [...]

Speaking of green, do you have any idea how much energy you consume via your gadgets?  Your home theater system, TVs, DVRs, Tivos, telephones, PCs, laptops, Macs, monitors?
When a beloved gadget dies, as they all eventually do, how do you dispose of it?  Are you green enough to find a recycling site?
The Consumer Electronics Association [...]
