PC World recently released their 100 Best Products of 2008.  Always a great topic for debate, these “Top/Best” lists, no?
Doesn’t matter, what appeals to me is the navigation capabilities of the list.  Look at it in ranked order, ABC order, category order, most anticipated (in pictures), or by readers’ top choices.

Whatever. Let’s take a look at the companies making this highly-publicized list for 2008:

Number of publishers: Zero.  That’s unfortunate now, isn’t it?

Apparently it’s becoming trendy to form Political Action Committees (PAC).  Google registered one in October 2006, and this month the Entertainment Software Association created theirs.  Two powerful entities seeking influence over governmental decisions in the United States.  Now, each will be able to toss money towards the politicians they back.
