PC World recently released their 100 Best Products of 2008. Always a great topic for debate, these “Top/Best” lists, no?
Doesn’t matter, what appeals to me is the navigation capabilities of the list. Look at it in ranked order, ABC order, category order, most anticipated (in pictures), or by readers’ top choices.
Jason’s highlights and lowlights:

This isn’t breaking news or anything, but both Dell and Treo closed their freestanding stores in the past few weeks.
Treo had 34 stores, believe it or not, and is facing a class-action lawsuit by owners of Treo 600 and 650 devices. (I’ll be joining that lawsuit. If you own/owned a Treo 600 or 650, go here for [...]

I’m a fairly frequent traveler, not really a road warrior. I book all my own travel. I think the convenience of choosing my own flights, rental cars, and hotels is well worth the time and trouble of getting a little savvy with the online tools available. Orbitz is my default site for booking travel. Travelocity & [...]

Apple sued Apple rumor site Think Secret in 2005. The suit began when site publisher Nick Ciarellia refused to name his source for a product Apple was producing that never launched. This week, an agreement was reached between the opposing parties. And as a result Think Secret will be shut down. Details are, not surprisingly, confidential. The [...]

According to a special report from Retailing Today, “Delivering digital content to consumers in new ways will be a key theme at the Consumer Electronics Show next month in Las Vegas.” I think this is great news, and a potential learning experience, for all of us in book publishing. Especially publishers with rich, valuable content. [...]

In plotting to blog again, I originally wanted to point out that I tinkered with blogging once before. Then, after way too much thought, I realized I’ve had 3 previous blogs.
So here we go again, and who knows if this time it will stick. I got mad at myself before for starting a blog and [...]
